Last Modified: 2006-10-23 04:58:49 Title: Parallel Isocontour Render Server Home

The Parallel Isocontour Render Server is render server for clients such as the Volume Rover. It provides fast parallel isosurface rendering for very large datasets.

For more pictures, animations, and interactive viz. of macromolecular structures using The Parallel Isocontour Render Server, please visit here.

Features

  • Runs in parallel using MPI
  • Uses graphics hardware for fast polygonal rendering
  • Load balanced across all isovalues for a given dataset
  • CORBA interface for coupling with external clients
